Five tools, none of them gated

Hitman Marketing publishes five free tools: an AI visibility checker and four calculators covering SEO return, website cost, speed to lead, and automation savings. Every one of them runs without a signup, prints its result on the page, and shows the arithmetic that produced it.

Which of these tools should you run first?

The AI Visibility Checker is the right first run if you do not yet know whether assistants name your business; a calculator is right if you already know the problem and need the number. The checker diagnoses, the four calculators quantify, and most owners run one of each.

The order matters more than it sounds. A calculator answers a question you have already framed — what a retainer would have to return, what a build should cost, what slow replies are costing you this year. The checker frames a question most owners have never asked at all, which is whether the systems their customers increasingly ask for a recommendation have ever heard of them.

If you run the checker and your business is named consistently, the AI search work is not your priority and one of the calculators probably points at something that is. That is a perfectly good outcome for a free tool, and it is why none of these ask for your email before telling you.

Why are these tools free and ungated?

These tools are ungated because a form in front of a calculator costs more trust than the email address is worth. A gate tells the visitor the number was never the point. Everything here runs and prints its result whether or not you ever contact Hitman Marketing.

There is a second reason, and it is less generous: a gated calculator does not have to be honest. Nobody can check the assumptions inside a tool they never reached, so the incentive runs toward flattering outputs and invented benchmarks. Publish the thing openly and every input, default and omission is visible to anyone who wants to argue with it — including the agency whose proposal you just modelled.

That is the same reason the price ladder is published in full. An estimator can only be as honest as the numbers behind it, and numbers you cannot see cannot be checked.

What can a free tool not tell you?

A free tool cannot tell you what your business will actually earn, because each calculator here multiplies assumptions you supplied. They are arithmetic made visible, not forecasts. For a measured answer rather than a modelled one, the $497 AI Visibility Teardown reports what four assistants and three listing platforms say today.

The visibility checker has a different limitation, and it is stated on its own page: AI assistants are non-deterministic, so a single run is a snapshot rather than a measurement. Reading one result as a trend is the most common mistake people make with it.

Common questions

Do any of these tools require an email address?
No tool on this page gates its result behind a form. The calculators run entirely in your browser and the visibility checker prints its answers on the page. The only contact field anywhere in the set is optional: if the live check is offline, you can ask for the run to be done by hand instead.

Can these tools be used to check another agency's proposal?
Yes, and that is a deliberate design choice. Every price and retainer field is editable, so you can drop a competitor's monthly figure or build quote straight into the model and see what it implies. The arithmetic does not care whose proposal it is.

Do the calculators use Hitman Marketing's published prices?
Three of them do, and they say so on screen. The SEO ROI calculator defaults to the $895 Foundations retainer, the website cost calculator marks where the $3,500 to $14,500 builds sit inside the market range, and the automation savings calculator compares your admin hours against the $497 to $1,499 operations tiers.

Find out whether your territory is open

One contract per industry per city. If yours is open you can execute at the published price today; if a competitor already holds it, the nearest open market is the one to look at.

The survey is credited in full against the contract if your territory opens and you take it.
