Websites built to convert, not just to look good

What’s included

Custom Website Design

Custom website design means a site built around what your business actually sells and how its customers actually buy, rather than a template adjusted to fit.

From $3,500

Website Redesign

A website redesign replaces a site that has stopped earning its keep — slow, dated, invisible to AI crawlers, or not producing leads — without sacrificing the search rankings the old site built.

From $3,500

Conversion Rate Optimization

Conversion rate optimization is the work of turning more existing visitors into enquiries — clearer proof, less form friction, faster pages, and faster responses when the enquiry arrives.

Webflow Development

Webflow development is a fit for businesses that want a polished marketing site their own team can edit, without plugin updates or server maintenance.

From $3,500

WordPress Website Design

WordPress website design done properly means a lean build — few plugins, real hosting, fast pages — for businesses that need WordPress's ecosystem or already run it well.

From $3,500

Shopify E-commerce Development

Shopify e-commerce development covers store setup, theme build, product architecture, payments, shipping, and the conversion work that turns visits into orders.

From $3,500

Landing Page Design

Landing page design produces a single page with one traffic source and one action — built for an ad campaign, a lead magnet, or one specific service, and judged on enquiries rather than appearance.

From $3,500

Website Care Plans

A website care plan covers hosting, backups, software updates, security monitoring, uptime, and a monthly allowance of content edits — $149 to $549 a month by tier.

From $149/mo

ADA Accessibility Compliance

ADA accessibility compliance for a website means people using screen readers, keyboards, or magnification can actually use it — measured in practice against the WCAG 2.1 AA guidelines that courts and demand letters reference.

Core Web Vitals Optimization

Core Web Vitals optimization makes a website load quickly, respond immediately, and hold still while it renders — the three behaviours Google measures on every page.

How much does a small business website cost?

In Tampa Bay, a basic build runs $800-$2,000, a custom small-business site $3,000-$8,000, and integrated projects $8,000-$20,000. Hitman Marketing's published tiers are $3,500, $7,500, and $14,500, each with a fixed scope, so comparing a quote against the market takes minutes rather than a discovery call.

The local market is unusually barbelled: sub-$1,000 template builds at one end, hourly custom work at the other, and very little credible in between — which is why a mid-market quote is the hardest one to sanity-check locally.

The number that gets left out of most quotes is what happens after launch. Hosting, updates, security, backups, and edits are real recurring costs whether or not anyone budgets for them.

Why does server-side rendering matter now?

Server-side rendering matters because AI crawlers do not execute JavaScript — Vercel and MERJ's large-scale GPTBot analysis found no script execution at all — so a client-rendered site is invisible to ChatGPT regardless of content quality. It has quietly become the most consequential technical decision in a website build.

A site that renders its content in the browser can rank perfectly well in Google, which executes JavaScript, while being entirely absent from every AI assistant answer. That gap will widen, and the full crawler evidence — including how much of the web assistants cannot reach — sits on the technical SEO page.

How long does a website take to build?

Three weeks for a five-page site, five to six for a twelve-page build, nine to ten for a fully custom one. Those timelines assume content and approvals arrive when requested — client delay, not build complexity, is what actually moves launch dates.

That is why the contract includes a delay clause: if content, assets, or approvals are outstanding for more than ten business days, the timeline extends day for day. It exists so the published timelines above can be honest rather than aspirational.

Who owns the website, the domain, and the accounts at handover?

You own the website, the domain, the hosting account, the code, and the content, all transferred at handover on final payment. You also hold your own analytics and Google Business Profile throughout the build. Nothing needs to be recovered if you leave Hitman Marketing, because nothing was ever held.

This is worth asking any agency directly, because the practice of holding client domains and profiles as retention leverage is common at the low end of this market and only becomes visible at the point someone tries to leave.

Websites questions

What is included in a website package?
Design, build, mobile responsiveness, basic on-page search setup, schema markup, analytics, a contact form, and defined revision rounds. Copywriting is included from the middle tier upward. Excluded unless stated: ongoing content, ad management, photography, and third-party licence costs.
Do you build on WordPress?
Only when there is a reason to. Most builds here are custom and server-rendered, which is faster, more secure, and materially better for both search and AI extraction. WordPress makes sense when a team already runs it well or needs a specific plugin ecosystem.
What is a care plan and is it optional?
It covers hosting, backups, updates, security monitoring, uptime, and a monthly allowance of edits — $149 to $549 a month by tier. It is required for the first twelve months on every build, because an unmaintained site degrades and the result reflects on both of us.
Can you redesign my existing site without losing rankings?
Yes, and it requires deliberate work: mapping every existing URL, preserving what ranks, redirecting what changes, and monitoring for several weeks afterward. Most ranking losses in a redesign come from skipping that mapping step, not from the new design.
